Gelände liegt in einer CTR. Gleitschirmflüge werden wohl geduldet. Jedoch sollten keine Flüge weit weg von den Bergen gemacht werden, da die Verkehrsflugzeuge nach dem Start vom Flughafen Pisa doch recht nahe kommen. Nachmittags bildet sich oft auch bei überregionalem Ostwind ein starker Westwind. Bitte beachtet folgende Infos vom Geländehalter (Stand 04/2018): From April 27th will be effective a new approaching route to the nearby airport of Pisa (ICAO: LIRP). This new route pass just above the paragliding flying site of Monte Capanne, making paragliding acticvities extremely dangerous for the risk of mid air collisions. At the present time the Aeroclub of Pisa has request a new NOTAM that will be placed on the right of Monte Capanne, making paragliding possible again even if in a smaller area. The NOTAM is activated on request of Aeroclub of Pisa. So, if you start from the lowest take-off (Monte Capanne Startplatz 1 alas "Decollo Basso" or "Fly Park"), turn immediately to the right (never left) as this start is outside the boundary of the NOTAM. If you start from the higher take-off (Monte Capanne Startplatz 2 alas "Decollo Alto") inside the NOTAM you have to go to the right nevertheless. WARNING: going left does not mean only violating the international air regulation, but being in the final glide of a landing jet that can reach approximately 300 METERS. Notice that the approaching procedure is instrumental (IFR), so the pilot will be probably looking at the instruments and not out of the windows!
