Castelluccio ist eines der beliebtesten Gelände in Umbrien / Mittelitalien. Bei Drachenfliegern und Gleitschirmfliegern geschätzt. Der Start an der Fontanile / Castelluccio wird häufig am Vormittag genutzt. Die Forca di Presta ist eher der Nachmittagsstartplatz. Landschaftlich bietet die Hochebene einen besonderen Reiz. Es gibt mehrere Startplätze in Castelluccio. Der Übungshang in der Mitte ist ideal zum Training. Die Gelände sind sehr thermisch und daher vor allem mittags auch sehr anspruchsvoll. Abends lässt es sich super soaren und fliegen. In Castelluccio gibt es Restaurants und Quartiere. Das Dorf ist bekannt für seine wohlschmeckenden Linsen. In den Sommermonaten ist die Flugschule Prodelta vor Ort.
