Castelluccio ist eines der beliebtesten Gelände in Umbrien / Mittelitalien. Bei Drachenfliegern und Gleitschirmfliegern geschätzt. Der Start am Forca di Presta (Weststart) bietet den Einstieg in die Castelluccio Runde entlang der Hochebene. Der Startplatz Fontanile wird vorzugsweise am Vormittag genutzt. Der Startplatz La Rotonda ist der Trainingshügel in Castelluccio. Das Gelände bietet ein stufenloses Terrain. Ideal zum Start- und Landetraining. Aber auch hier sollte man auf den Wind achten. Thermik und starker Wind wird dann schnell sehr anspruchsvoll. Landschaftlich bietet die Hochebene einen besonderen Reiz. Abends lässt es sich häufig super soaren und fliegen. In Castelluccio gibt es Restaurants und Quartiere. Das Dorf ist bekannt für seine wohlschmeckenden Linsen. In den Sommermonaten ist die Flugschule Prodelta vor Ort.
