S bis W. Es kann bei Windrichtungen von ca. 180-270 Grad ab einer Windstärke von ca. 3m/s geflogen werden. (Schneisenstartplatz) Gelandet wird hauptsächlich auf der Wiese unterhalb der Startschneise. Toplandungen sind auch möglich, allerdings nur für erfahrene Piloten, da mit möglichen Leeturbulenzen zu rechnen ist. Einmal unten auf der Wiese eingelandet, bitte am Waldrand entlang zum Startplatz hochgehen (gilt hauptsächlich bei längerem Grasbewuchs). Das Fluggebiet eignet sich sowohl zum Soaren als auch zum thermischen Streckenfliegen. Sollte man nach dem zweiten bzw. dritten Startversuch nicht hochkommen, ist der Flugbetrieb einzustellen, sollten sich die Verhältnisse nicht verbessern. Das Auto kann direkt am Startplatz oberhalb der Straße geparkt werden (nur bei trockenen Verhältnissen), ansonsten entlang der Straße parken um möglichen Flurschaden zu vermeiden! Beschränkungen Geflogen werden darf bis maximal 1 Stunde vor Sonnenuntergang, längstens bis 20 Uhr. Die Flugzeiten sind zwingend einzuhalten, da Sie mit der örtlichen Jägerschaft vereinbart worden sind. Wichtiger Hinweis für Motorschirm-Piloten: Keine Starts und Landungen im Fluggebiet Oedt!
