Der Monte Baldo ist landschaftlich ein Highlight. Der Berg ist allerdings anspruchsvoll. Das Problem besteht durch die nicht immer einfache Beurteilung der Windverhältnisse am Landeplatz und die direkte Lage am See. Schwimmweste am Monte Baldo ist Pflicht. Das Gelände wird in den Sommermonaten vor allem zum Sicherheitstraing genutzt. Der Landeplatz liegt in Navene (Ortsteil von Malcesine), ungefähr 2 km nördlich der Bahn (am Strand).
